London’s Clothes Show kicked off the trade fashion show for many of us – think outlet store but for everything from shoes and nail polishes, to skin cream and hair straighteners. But there are hundreds of trade shows around Europe all year round, full of fashion delights and unbeatable bargains. So, if you’re thinking about a city break this summer, forget about taking in the sights and take a spare suitcase instead. Here’s a round up of some of the best shows to hit this year

Premium Order is the biggest high-fashion trade show in Europe, and a treasure trove of beautifully crafted and high class items. You may not recognise any of the brand names, but there are literally hundreds, and each designer has a unique and interesting back-story. This show is great for discovering new designers, learning about their methods of making clothes and picking up some stunning staple pieces for the rest of the year.
Pick of the show: Charlotte Sparre is all about bright colours and bold prints, so is bang on trend for this season. She’s also making all her clothes in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
