When I first heard about the launch of virtual fitting rooms I felt a mixture of excitement and curiosity build up in me. The idea of being able to find the perfect fit without the need to return the items purchased sounded exceptional. But how do virtual fitting rooms actually work?
Like most women, part of my day out shopping is spent in fitting rooms, exceeding the maximum number of items allowed in the changing rooms, contemplating my self-image and convincing myself that the perfect dress is worth breaking the bank. One of my main concerns however, is whether the dress fits comfortably around my figure.
